I find it weird when people sometimes say I am a good listener. I love talking about myself. There’s none of that but what if I am not interesting enough anymore, because over time the realization that each one is unique has embedded itself in my head. Even tiny things are good enough to make a personality wildly different. It’s like Inception where a minuscule experience/idea can dramatically alter the trajectory of your life. These moments present themselves each day, and, whether we seize them or not, they shape us. You’re made up of those moments, they’re so many that it is impossible for two people to be crafted from the same sets of moments. Okay no, the point is you’re unique.

So am I. Life has afforded me opportunities to be different in the eyes of society. Does that make me exceptional- probably not since the Ivies rejected me lmaoo.  Right, I love talking about myself and so should you- about yourself that is. Perhaps you have been conditioned into thinking you are only a tiny speck of sand in a desert of dismissal. We all are. The good/twisted part of the average teenager’s state of mind- where they are too afraid to speak up in fear of being shot down- is that it is, in a way, easier to stand out by just talking. It doesn’t matter what you say in normal conditions. Sure if you make it through life surrounded by intellectuals then you need to watch what you say, but for the average audience just say something. It’ll get you far.

No wait, faster than light in the title refers to how I feel I have grown faster than many I know of my age. It means that there are very few people you relate to who are of your own age. Perhaps you know what I mean if the majority of your circle is 4 years older than you. Or maybe not. Who knows. 

Shush any way you might feel lonely but that’s okay bruh. It means that you are yet to find your people- or perhaps you are yet to experience experiences that change you to be like those around you, making them your people. Find them or make them, your people are coming so don’t worry. Loneliness is a part of life and it serves well to acquaint yourself with yourself. Figure out what you like and take yourself out on tiny dates I guess. Why not?
